While using browsers how can I add an exception and trust a self signed certificate

Most organizations would not and should not allow this but for testing purposes and non production environments in may be available. Check with your security team before adding any exception.
Trusting on a self signed certificate may not solve SSL problems and it is discouraged for security concerns
I've accessed a test site and I need to add an Exception on my browser to work with such site
Each browser has it's own warnings and dialogs Lets cover Firefox first
Warning text from Firefox:
Click "Advanced" and Scroll down
Click "Accept the Risk and Continue" (check with your security policies before accepting this risk)
On Chrome browser
Click "Advanced" and scroll down
click on "Proceed" (check with your security policies before Proceeding)
Click "Details" and scroll down
Click on "Go on to the page (Check your security policies before clicking)
To trust on those servers individually you can download the certificate, open the file (double click).
Click on "Install Certificate"
Select "Local Machine"
Select Automatically select the certificate store...
Click "Next" and "Finish" The certificate is now trusted by your OS trust store
