The following table includes initial maintenance available to provide Day 1 support for CICS Transaction Server (CTS) v5.6. For maintenance made available after this publication, please select a product's home page for available maintenance or contact Customer Solutions directly.

| Abend-AID for CICS | 17.02.00 | Support for CTS 5.6 is available via new FMIDs NKFX17B (English) and OKFX17B (Japanese). The new FMIDs are included only with new orders after the CICS GA date.
Please APPLY current maintenance to ECC and existing Abend-AID FMIDs and follow the instructions in the Abend-AID Advanced Configuration Guide section 'Adding Support for New CICS Releases' on page 84.
The following Abend-AID PTFs are needed in addition to installing the new FMIDs. Starting from the CICS GA date they will be included on the latest cumulative maintenance file.

Please APPLY current maintenance to existing Xpediter/CICS FMIDs and follow the instructions in the Xpediter/CICS Advanced Configuration Guide section 'Task 20.1 Upgrading CICS'.
Important Note: PTF XDQ087x is also required and should be applied to the Xpediter/CICS 17.02 FMIDs already installed. The suffix 'x' corresponds to the 1st character of each existing FMID. All versions of the required PTFs are included in the latest cumulative maintenance. |
