The following table includes initial maintenance available to provide Day One support for PL/I V6.1.
Toleration Support
BMC Compuware successfully tested all current BMC Compuware product releases for toleration support for IBM Enterprise PL/I for z/OS V6.1.
Toleration support means that a BMC Compuware product functions as expected when using PL/I for z/OS V6.1, while not involving any new features introduced or supported by PL/I for z/OS V6.1.
Exploitation Support
Exploitation support means using or supporting any new IBM hardware or software features available through PL/I for z/OS V6.1.
Customers wishing exploitation support by BMC Compuware products should contact BMC Compuware Customer Support with any new feature requirements.
Evaluation Exploitation Support Projects
BMC Compuware is actively evaluating, designing, and enabling our products to support various new features in IBM Enterprise PL/I for z/OS V6.1. Any new features currently under consideration for exploitive support are listed below. Complete descriptions of these features can be found in the IBM Enterprise PL/I for z/OS V6.1 data sheet.
Instead of applying single PTFs, in all cases, the application of the latest product Cumulative Maintenance Update file will provide the best and most complete support.
If you are at a previous Cumulative Maintenance Update file level, please obtain the latest and run an SMP/E APPLY CHECK to find and apply the latest fixes.
