How to change/reset the Remedy Application Service Password. |
This knowledge article may contain information that does not apply to version 21.05 or later which runs in a container environment. Follow these steps: 1- Make sure the user is part of the Administrator group. 2- Go to AR System Administration > AR System Administration Console 3- Go to System > General > Server Information 4- In the Server Information form select the Connection Settings tab. - Change the Application Service Password with the new password. Note: In a server group environment this password should be the same across all servers. Otherwise some functionalities for example approvals will fail when a server attempts to communicate to another server and there is a mismatch on the password between the servers. 5- Press Apply and OK. 6- Restart AR System (required).
