Receiving error "HTTP Status 404" when trying to access Self Service running on a Unix/Linux host via the web user interface?

Check the following directories and verify the war packages exist:

<EM HOME dir>/ctm_em/etc/emweb/tomcat/webapps

The content of the SelfService directory should be similar to the following in version 8.0.00:

If the directory is empty or some files are missing, redeploy the war packages using the following steps:

1. Stop the web server by running "stop_web_server" or from the Configuration Manager (if version 8)
2. Navigate to ctm_em/etc/emweb/tomcat/webapps directory
3. Rename the SelfService directory to something like SelfService.old.
4. delete the tomcat working cache folder
cd $home/ctm_em/etc/emweb/tomcat
rm -r work
5. Start the web server by running "start_web_server" or from the Configuration Manager (if version 8)
6. Validate that the directories have been created and populated with the proper files.
7. Login again to see that the problem is fixed.
