It is possible to reset the admin password with the help of DB queries. Microsoft SQL server: 1. Open SQL Server Management Studio. (If not available, it can be downloaded from Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express for 32-bit or 64-bit systems. 2. Login as sa, the db owner or any account which has rights to write on the db and open a new query window. 3. Execute the below mentioned query, Make sure the correct BCM database is selected at the top.
update Administrators set Authentication=NULL, Password=NULL, SystemPasswordCheck=NULL where LoginName='admin';
5. It prompts the dialog box for setting the new password for 'admin' account. Oracle or Postgres database: For databases other than Microsoft SQL, use the management utilities provided with the database system to run the same query noted above.
