Question

When attempting to export policies using the cmapolicymigration.bat export all -d "C:\Policies" option, the script looks like it ran but the log shows BMC_DM8I Missing Resource Bundle? What could cause this error?

Answer

The BMC_DM8I Missing Resource Bundle is referring to certificates missing. If TSPS is running on custom CA Certificates, they will need to be imported into the TSPS modules/jre directory and then restart TSPS.

We have seen success after importing the certificates in the JRE and restarting TSPS.

Another reason could be if old certificates have been expired and new certificates are imported then the old expired certificates needs to be removed for the policy export to work.
