How can I configure TSIM's jserver process to use an http proxy, so that I can configure the BSR configuration, when a proxy is required to reach the midtier server? |
In the BMC_PROACTIVENET_HOME/custom/conf/pnjserver.conf, add the following lines: (if you do not already have a pnjserver.conf in the custom/conf directory, create it appropriately, per the documentation) COMDefine https.proxyHost=proxy-hostname-here COMDefine https.proxyPort=proxy-port-here COMDefine http.proxyHost=proxy-hostname-here COMDefine http.proxyPort=proxy-port-here Also please update below entry in %BMC_PROACTIVENET_HOME%\pw\custom\conf\pnjserver.conf COMDefine http.nonProxyHosts=proxy-hostname-here COMDefine https.nonProxyHosts=proxy-hostname-here Change the proxy-hostname-here and proxy-port-here values according to your proxy server's settings. Note, we are setting both http and https proxy settings here, to be sure to cover both possible paths. After this change, restart the TSIM/BPPM server. Note - for the equivalent settings for the SDIG/EventIntegrator process, see KA 000304922 |
