Is it possible to obtain a dynamic report that allows us to identify patrol agent nodes with the following Policy status?: The following policies could not be applied |
You can create a log monitor for the CMA*log. It captures this information. Example entry: [PatrolAgentMsgListenerFORPCFG_30] CMA Policy failed to apply on patrolagent : [patrolagentname.company.com:3181, ServerId: 17, MoInstanceId : 11107] Or you can check the TSPS DB's table named PATROLAGENT_DETAILS for the column named POLICIESFAILEDTOAPPPLY and display that along with the PATROLFQDN column. For Windows: SET PGPASSWORD=put_the_password_here CD /D "%TRUESIGHTPSERVER_HOME%\truesightpserver\modules\pgsql\bin\" psql -U admin truesight truesight=# select PATROLFQDN,policiesfailedtoapplytime,POLICIESFAILEDTOAPPLY from PATROLAGENT_DETAILS where policiesfailedtoapplytime > '1553114044101'; patrolfqdn | policiesfailedtoapplytime| policiesfailedtoapply ------------------------+--------------------------------------------- clm-aus-sty7t1.bmc.com | 1553114045101 |Win,Predefined Policy For Windows clm-aus-sty7vr.bmc.com | 1553214044204 |Threashold2,Lin,Predefined Policy For Linux (2 rows) For Unix: cd /opt/bmc/TrueSightPServer/truesightpserver/modules/pgsql/bin ./psql -d truesight -U admin truesight=# select PATROLFQDN,policiesfailedtoapplytime,POLICIESFAILEDTOAPPLY from PATROLAGENT_DETAILS where policiesfailedtoapplytime > '1553114044101'; patrolfqdn | policiesfailedtoapplytime| policiesfailedtoapply ------------------------+--------------------------------------------- clm-aus-sty7t1.bmc.com | 1553114045101 |Win,Predefined Policy For Windows clm-aus-sty7vr.bmc.com | 1553214044204 |Threashold2,Lin,Predefined Policy For Linux (2 rows) In the above command, replace 1553114044101 with whatever epoch time is of interest to you (e.g. since such-and-such day & time). If you don't have a where clause, then all historical problems applying policies will be seen in the output, even if they have been resolved. Blank entries for policiesfailedtoapplytime would indicate that those Patrol Agents aren't currently experiencing policy application problems. In the above command, replace admin with the PostgreSQL database user name configured during install of TSPS as defined in %TRUESIGHTPSERVER_HOME%\TrueSightPServerInstalledConfiguration.xml like this: <property><name>TrueSight_database_username</name><value>admin</value></property> |
