Why Entuity event are not visible in TrueSight Console though BemEventEngineSent shows those are sent successfully from Entuity end? Why do we get MC_CELL_UNDEFINED_CLASS event when Entuity events received in TrueSight Console? |
If you have newly configured this integration from Entuity to Truesight then it’s likely to possible that necessary class and mrl files are not activated/enabled in TrueSight cell’s KB. You can enable them with help of following steps 1) Make sure eye_event.baroc file is present in $MCELL_HOME\etc\pncell_XXXXX\kb\classes directory and add following entry in .load file located under same directory. eye_event 2) Likewise, make sure eye_integration.mrl file is present in $MCELL_HOME\etc\pncell_XXXXX\kb\rules directory and add following entry in .load file located under same directory. eye_integration 3) Compile the cell KB with below command followed by restart of the cell. > mccomp -n <cell_name> After cell restart you will see Entuity events in TrueSight console as expected 4) after checking the above steps, make sure the cell is up and running fine > mcstat -n <cell name> (For cell HA, once primary cell(cell_name#1) is up, and then start secondary(cell_name#2) cell by syncing cells) Entuity events data flow: Entuity -> IIWS -> Remote cell -> TSIM cell-> TSPS or Entuity -> IIWS -> TSIM cell-> TSPS (not suggested for a performance point of view) 5) Make sure IIWS server /etc/host has IIWS host and FQDN with correct IP address 6) Make sure IIWS mcell.dir has correct details about IIWS gateway and cell entry with expected port (path: %IIWS_HOME\Tomcat\webapps\imws\WEB-INF\etc\mcell.dir) 7) Make sure cell mcell.dir has correct details about IIWS gateway and cell entries entry with expected port (path: %MCELL_HOME%\etc\mcell.dir) Please note : Entuity integration related rules and classes are not enabled by default and it should be enabled when Entuity integration is enabled |
