How to resolve destination cell_xxxx : status=wait ? |
If you observe messages similar to the following on source cell log (%mcell_home%/log/<cell_name>/mcell-log.*) :
mcell: SERVICE: svrdst.c, 2290: BMC_TS-IMC050134V: Contacting destination pncell_xxxx at x.x.x.x/1828 using protocol 19 over TCP mcell: PROPAGATE: propagate.c, 1679: BMC_TS-IMC091101V: Send [2] to destination pncell_xxxx : status=wait mcell: SERVICE: svrdst.c, 3005: BMC_TS-IMC050133V: Registering existing destination 2 pncell_xxxx mcell: SERVICE: svrdst.c, 2180: BMC_TS-IMC050135V: Connected to destination pncell_xxxx at x.x.x.x/1828 mcell: PROPAGATE: propagate.c, 1679: BMC_TS-IMC091101V: Send [4] to destination pncell_xxxx : status=wait Please follow below instructions to resolve the issue a) Tune following parameters in mcell.conf file (%mcell_ home%/etc/<cell_name>/mcell.conf) on remote cell ConnectTimeOut=10000 SynchronizeTimeOut=50000 ClientSendTimeOut=10000 b) Reload cell configuration using command : mcontrol -n <cell_name> reload conf Or restart cell using command : mcontrol -n <cell_name> restart Events should start propagating from source cell to the destination cell. |
