Remedy - Server - v9.1.x -ERROR (26): Admin operations are disabled on this server;(ARERR 5088)
Admin operations appear to be disabled on the primary Admin server in our 9.1 server group, despite the following configurations being set:
Disable-Admin-Ops: F
The server is configured with Rank 1 in the Server Group Operation Ranking form.
In Dev Studio, when attempting to open the Remedy Foundation Elements application, the following error is observed:
"Unable to retrieve application form OMABCDEFGP13.abcde.com.com.bmc.arsys.studio.model.ModelException: ERROR (26): Admin operations are disabled on this server; (ARERR 5088)"

Please refer to Article Number 000385088 for more information about troubleshooting BMC products in containers. Solution of the issue is achieved by setting the Disable-Admin-Ops-Global value to F rather than to T as you had suggested previously: To enable Admin feature, perform the following steps. 1. In a browser, open the BMC Remedy AR System Administration Console, and click System > General > Centralized Configuration. 2. In the AR System Configuration Generic UI form, from the Component Name list, select com.bmc.arsys.server.shared 3. Click Add. 4. Enter the name of the setting that you want to add and its value.
Once you click Apply the change will take place immediately on each server. When Disable-Admin-Ops-Global is set to T it applies across the server group and overrides the individual server settings. |
