This knowledge article may contain information that does not apply to version 21.05 or later which runs in a container environment. Please refer to Article Number 000385088 for more information about troubleshooting BMC products in containers. Apply the new license file accordingly to the application version. The license files can be downloaded from BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website . Follow next steps: 1. Access to EPD and search for any of the following product names:
3. Extract the license from the zip file downloaded from the EPD to a temporary location: 4. Log in to Remedy Smart Reporting using siadmin account into the Default organization through the application direct URL:
5. Navigate to Administration > Admin Console and click on Licence Management. 6. Click on Upload Licence to expand the options and click on the Browse button to select the license file downloaded on step 2. 7. Click on the Preview button to verify the new license information and click on the Submit button. Note: If the message "Data population failed" appears, that means that the wrong license file was used. Make sure to use the corresponding license file as described in step 1. |
