When issuing the "emrestsrv" command to start the Control-M Workload Automation API Server, a command prompt window stays open
The batch script that starts the emrestsrv needs to be modified.
In order to eliminate the open window you may edit the "emrestsrv.bat" script and add "/B" to "start" command, for example: 

start "emrestsrv" /B "%em_jre_home%\bin\javaw.exe" %EMCOMP_IDENT% %em_java_options% -DEM_HOME="%EM_HOME%" -Dlog4j.configuration="%LOG4J_CONF_FILE%" -jar "%SERVER_JAR%" %*
