Problem

- Hostname and DNS Alias with an underscore "_" in it that points to Control-M/Enterprise Manager Web Server stopped working after upgrading from Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.18 to 9.0.19
- The below error might appeared when accessing the Control-M URL:
    Login - User Authentication failed
    User Authentication failed: Network connectivity issue was encountered.
    The server might be down

   User Authentication Error

Cause

CTM-3075 : Tomcat issues 400 responses, when host name doesn't end with an alphabetic character or has underscore

Solution

CTM-3075 has been created for this issue and is implemented in version 9.0.20.000.
Install the latest available version to resolve this issue.
