A new PATROL Agent is being added for monitoring but it is not created in either TSIM or TSPS.

Check the TrueSight.log for messages like the following:
INFO  08/27 09:43:26 PatrolAgentAudit     [PatrolAgentAddMsg_3] 600002 Patrol Agent MO already available [11000 14943] for hostname <HOSTNAME> port 3181
ERROR 08/27 09:43:26 Invalid              [PatrolAgentAddMsg_3] Exception while creating AgentACKTask for MSG null Missing Resource String
java.lang.NullPointerException

These messages indicate a stale entry for this PATROL Agent exists in the TSIM cache but the actual device has not been created correctly in TSIM.

The output from the TSIM command:
pw device list
Will not include the PATROL Agent in question.
Product defect DRTAL-10
Workaround is to restart the TSIM.
This will clear the appropriate cache and allow the PATROL Agent to be successfully created.

Defect is fixed in 11.3.06 version
