After having enabled the Archive across different forms and running the Archive policy, records are not being archived. Also the archive log when enabled it is not being created. It looks like the Archive thread is not running. |
This knowledge article may contain information that does not apply to version 21.05 or later which runs in a container environment. Please refer to Article Number 000385088 for more information about troubleshooting BMC products in containers. When the main Archive thread is not running the outcome will indeed be data not being archived for any form as well as the Archive log not being generated. This indicates that a global setting or configuration setting is set for the Archive not to run for some reason. Make sure of the following: 1- Check the Archive feature is not Disabled in the Server Information form in the AR Server. To check this go to Applications Links > AR system Administration Console System > General > Server Information Select the Configuration tab: Make sure Disable Archive is NOT selected: 2- Check the Archive Operation is ranked properly in the AR System Server Group Operation Ranking form Check that the ranking is not empty. The Archive operation needs to be ranked in order to be enabled. |
