How to add a new license file for TrueSight Smart Reporting?

Important: These instructions are valid only for TrueSight Smart Reporting - Operations Management version 11.3.

For any of the following products refer to knowledge article TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform - Adding a new license:

• TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform version 19.02 or later with TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse
• TrueSight Network Automation - Data Warehouse
• TrueSight Capacity Optimization

Steps to follow before expiry date is reached

1. Download the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Operations Management version 11.3 license file from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website.

2. Log in to TrueSight Smart Reporting by using the following details:

• Use the administrator user credentials.
• Log in to the Default organization.

3. Navigate to Administration > Admin Console and click on License Management.
4. Expand Upload License and click on Browse to select the license file that was downloaded on step 1.
5. Click on Preview to verify the new license information and click on Submit.


Steps to follow after expiry date is reached

In the case that the license has already expired, and cross-launching to Smart Reporting does not work anymore, enable direct login to Smart Reporting, refer to next knowledge article:

Once completed, refer to above steps and follow from step 3 ahead.
