When starting up TSPS 11.3.0.3 secondary node by running "tssh server start" command, the start up fails with the below error: Error: Remote HA node tsps1.bmc.com is up and running. Starting the copysnapshot command from tsps1.bmc.com to tsps2.bmc.com... Copysnapshot command failed, shutting down the server. The issue occurred after upgrading from TSPS 11.3.0.1 to 11.3.0.3. Primary server is starting up without issue. In the db-remote-copy.log, you will see the following error: pg_basebackup: could not connect to server: FATAL: no pg_hba.conf entry for replication connection from host "xx.xx.xxx.xx", user "dbuser", SSL off where xx.xx.xxx.xx is the secondary node IP Address |
Ensure that the Primary ph_hba.conf must match the first entry in DNS for the IP Address used to connect from secondary or from the local hosts file.
